Spare by Prince Harry Causing a Splash even before its Official Release

    Spare
came flying off the bookshelves in a literal manner. It was released before its publication date and there was a rapid search for Spanish translators since it was released in Spain. Its odd that Spare would get released early and part of me believes it was on purpose. This book had been tight lid in terms of information which was surprising given the time and age where secrets are not kept for long since everything gets leaked. So to think this book was suddenly dropped out of nowhere its odd. I wonder if the royal family will investigate this matter because thanks to the early release Spare has received even more attention than it would have due to its mysterious presale and the excerpts being translated.

One of the excerpts that has come out form Spare details how there was a clash between the brothers over the Invictus Games. Prince William thought Prince Harry would make the monarchy loss funds so he tries to make his brother cancel the event by planting this idea and making the event lesser almost to the point of trying to make it irrelevant.

"In “Spare,” his eagerly awaited memoir, Harry claims William had a jealous reaction when he heard his brother’s idea for the annual sporting event to benefit wounded, injured and sick service members and veterans.
“He appeared supremely irritated,” the former military pilot writes in his book, out Jan. 10, claiming that William complained it would drain funds from their foundation.
Harry, 38, called his sibling’s issue “absurd” and explained that the financing would come from the Endeavor Fund, a branch he “created specifically for the rehabilitation of veterans,” as well as donors. " --Page Six

Its sad that Prince William would try to belittle his brother but there is an irony that the Invictus Games are generally better received than the Earthshot Awards. An event aimed to save the world but its questionable how its going to do that with celebrities flying from all over the world to be present while the winners were not.  This event's message would be stronger if Prince William hosted it in his home country and invited local people along with the winners who could chose to attend in person or virtually.

This being said I wonder how Spare covers Prince Harry's life if is evenly divided or it leans more towards some periods in his life. Because this will show the time period that brought Prince Harry the most pain. People tend to talk most about periods in their lives that brought them pain to heal from those experiences. From the excepts I have read Prince Harry has not moved on from his past and he does not have a solid identity yet as Harry, the non working royal. This is something he needs to work on because I have yet to see progress in that department and it weakens his message about independence. I will read Spare and cover the interview that he will have with Anderson Copper in the near future.
